Specifically developed for those working in the Food and Beverage sector this online course equips you with the knowledge and tools you need to understand Net Zero and how to be part of a sustainable food system.


We will cover the science of climate change, local and global impacts and how these affect day to day business operations, now and in the future. Drawing on our knowledge and expertise in the AgTech sector, this workshop will support you to be sustainable now and for the future.


Your output from this course will be evaluated by the Carbon Literacy Project in order for you to be certified as​ Carbon Literate.


What is Carbon Literacy? The Carbon Literacy Project describes it as ‘An awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.’

Claire has over 20 years working in Asia, New Zealand and the UK for NGOs, government and commercial entities. Claire is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Lancaster and Chartered Practitioner of Public Relations.
Claire has a particular interest in designing sustainable business models and innovation within the food and drink sector, rural economy and tourism to support a sustainable global food system and food security.
